We have seen a shift in our 5 top brands over the last year, but SIKU never fails us and remains our top selling brand here at Grandpa's Toys.
The biggest brand move would have to be Majorette. Majorette did not feature in our top 10 brands in 2021, but in 2022 skyrocketed up to number 5!
Who is Majorette?
Is one of the best known French manufacturers of model vehicles, Majorette knows how to appeal to car enthusiasts. This is seen with their latest volkswagen range. What spurs them on is a desire to design increasingly better and more realistic vehicles for young and old that give pleasure to the whole family. The particularly well-processed materials mean that our products are guaranteed a long life.
A bit of Majorette history
Majorette was first established in 1961 by Emil Véron manufactoring model railways. In 1964 the start of the die-cast cars made an appearance on the market under the brand Majorette and in 1967 became France's largest model car manufacturer.
Manufactouring of Majorette die-cast models started in France, but in 1987 moved production to Thailand.
Today the Majorette brand is owned by the Simba Dickie Group.
